Mission: It is our mission is to provide a professional and efficient service to our community by working closely with each resident or contractor to make every project be as successful and smooth as possible. We look to enforce the New York State Uniform Fire and Building Codes and Local Ordinances to help protect our residents and make our town the best and safest town it can be.
This department will be administering and enforcing the Town of Pendleton codes and laws pertaining to property use and building construction as well as investigating complaints or issues from our residents that may arise. We also do compliance inspections to verify safety measures are being met to ensure that each building up to the proper standards. The Building Department also enforces Wetland and Floodplain regulations and can do our best to help with any issues pertaining to these items.
