Town of Pendleton – Passport Application Acceptance Facility
The Pendleton Town Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce that it is now accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.
U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 6570 Campbell Boulevard, Lockport, NY 14094.
Please call (716) 625-8833 and choose option 3 with questions or to schedule an appointment. Appointments are strongly encouraged.

You must apply in person using Form DS-11 if at least one of the following is true:
- You are applying for your first U.S. passport
- You are under age 16
- Your previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16
- Your previous U.S. passport was lost, stolen, or damaged
- Your previous U.S. passport was issued more than 15 years ago
If none of the above statements apply to you, you may be eligible to Renew using Form DS-82.
How much will it cost?
Various fees apply depending on what you are applying for. Here is the link to the current Passport Fee Chart.
Please note that you will be making separate payments to the Town of Pendleton as the Passport Acceptance Agency AND to the U.S. Department of State.
The Town of Pendleton accepts cash, checks, money orders and credit/debit card payments for the Passport Execution Fee.
Payment to the U.S. Department of State must be made by check, money order or bank draft ONLY.
Passport Photos Available Onsite!
We can take your passport photo right onsite for a $15.00 additional fee. You can also bring your own passport photo. Please see the links below for helpful information regarding acceptable passport photos:
Can I renew my passport at an Acceptance Facility?
No. If you are renewing your passport with Form DS-82, acceptance facilities will not take your application. Acceptance facilities should never charge you a $35 fee for renewing your passport. These locations should only charge you a $35 fee if you are applying for a new passport using Form DS-11.
